The park is a huge expanse of protected mountain terrain with a vast network of hiking trails and wildlife. The higher elevation can cause altitude sickness in those not prepared, so it's recommended to spend at least 24-48 hours acclimating before hitting the trails. There are small towns and amazing hikes all around Denver, so find something you're interested in exploring!
Gorgeous park with gorgeous hiking trails. We really got lucky with good weather and smaller crowds when we came in July. Not too much wildlife during the day, but drive slowly in the dark as there are often elk around.

Great place to trek, spectacular views and witness wildlife. The Alpine visitor center has great views on top. Other visitor centers have flush toilets too. We can get beautiful sunset views in Bear lake. Timed entry is required to enter Rocky mountain national Park between 9 am to 2 pm and for Bear lake between 5 am to 6 pm during the summer and fall seasons. Best to visit Bear lake during sunset or sunrise for the spectacular views. Extremely beautiful during the fall season.

Too much to say about this place. If you are considering going and capable of hiking, just go! Timed entry was easy and super convenient to help us avoid large crowds at the more popular hikes. Every ranger or employee we encountered was great, caring and knowledgeable. So many different areas in this park with so many wonderful views.

One of the most spectacular, photogenic and famous national park, set in the midst of the Rockies. Has the highest continuous road (11K feet above sea level) over the continental divide. Has lakes, spectacular views, awesome hiking, cross country skiing in the winter….just about any outdoor sport you’d like to do. You need days to cover it.
Rich B — Google review
Ended up being here on the first snow of the year with the leaves changing. What a magical experience. It is absolutely worth visiting. Be warned they are not doing timed entry and between 9am and 2pm you cannot leave the park and get back in. Also there is an additional pass you need to purchase if you want to see the glacier. We were very sad to discover this and did not get to visit those trails.

Rocky Mountain national park is just amazing. The view from the top is eye opening. It was windy however the weather was kinda nice. The driveway view is phenomenal and little but scary as well. Must visit place in Colorado.👍🤩

Beautiful park, especially when you get off the road and go for a hike. The western side is much less crowded and much more peaceful. Very limited services in the park, but there are two towns close to the entrances that can accommodate most needs.

We went in the winter, 4 wheel drive may be required to enter. I believe tickets were about 35 dollars. It is really a beautiful place, and may even be a once in a lifetime experience. The mountains, scenery, and animals, just breathtaking and something I will never forget. They also have a nice gift shop and friendly staff.

Rocky Mountain National Park is honestly one of the most beautiful places I’ve ever been. If you love nature and stunning mountain views, this place is perfect. There are trails for everyone—whether you’re just up for a casual walk around Bear Lake or want to tackle a tougher hike like Longs Peak. The scenery is unreal, and it’s super common to spot wildlife like elk and deer, which is pretty cool.Trail Ridge Road is a must if you’re driving through. It gives you incredible views from up high, and you really get to experience how massive the park is. Every season offers something different—summer’s all about wildflowers, and in the winter, it’s like stepping into a snow-covered wonderland. If you’re planning to go, I’d recommend packing some snacks, water, and a camera because you’ll definitely want to take some pics. Whether you’re into hiking, camping, or just chilling with a view, Rocky Mountain National Park won’t disappoint!

We had the best time here! We saw so many elk and all the rangers were nice. Go early to avoid crowds and don’t forget to check the website to see if timed entry is required. I highly recommend trying to get entry to Bear Lake!

Loads of moose, elk, and bighorn sheep! Gorgeous stargazing. I went to the Grand Lake side just before memorial day (off season, before Trail Ridge Road opened), and there was hardly anyone there. It was glorious. I even caught a faint Aurora to the north!

My #3 favorite park in the USA - it’s spectacular! Beautiful vistas, waterfalls, wildlife, lakes & mountains - it doesn’t get much better than this! The nearby community of Estes Park provides a great place to stay, eat & entertainment when you’re not in the park.

Rocky Mountain National Park was absolutely stunning! The alpine views, wildlife, and endless hiking trails were incredible. A big plus is the scenery, but it can get crowded. Still, an unforgettable experience!

The mountains are stunning and we saw abundant wildlife daily. The hiking trails are well marked and when we visited the wildflowers were in full bloom. It is a little tricky to get the time entry pass but it all worked out for us. Stay hydrated and read up on the NPS websites so you are prepared. We have so many hikes we love here. The locals truly treasure and love the mountains and take great care and pride in the mountains. It is rejuvenating to visit this area.

My family and I went over the weekend with a Timed entry reservation + Bear Lake pass at the latest entry time. We preferred it as there were less crowds, Bear lake is stroller friendly, many different trails connected, free parking right out front and the weather was in 62 degrees. Bear lake and Nymoh lake were the only trials we could hit with a 1 year old and I’d recommend. Do not bring the stroller for Nymph lake( up terrain and rocking).

Late September or early October is probably the best time to visit Rocky Mountain National Park. Beautiful mountains dressed with golden foliage of aspen trees and the weather is just right, not too hot; not too cold. There are much less crowds compared with summer months.

Need a full day to spend there, come an early morning. A day I will never forget. A very good experience, very beautiful place. My advice go to Estes Park first then drive to the Rocky Mountain
MOHAMMED A — Google review
What a beautiful place. We drove all the way across east to west and stopped at many interesting spots along the way. Entrance is by reservation during the day and parking at sites is ample. Don’t expect traffic and crowds because there are none. It’s quite cold at the high altitudes so bring warm jackets. We camped one night and had a little ice on the car in the morning, in August.
Stan T — Google review
This one of the best national parks I have ever been to! This place is truly a wonder. Forests, waterfalls, rivers, creeks, mountains, tundras, grasslands, and caves are everywhere and are great for exploration.
R R — Google review
It was not bad for our first time being there, the view was breathtaking and the hike was definitely worth it. I personally think you don’t really need to see the lake Haiyaha but if you wanna test your own strength go for it. I gave 4 stars because you need another time entry pass to access the road to enter the trail which sold out most of the time other than that I recommend!
Bailey A — Google review
Beautiful national Park within 1.5 hrs.. from Denver. The scenic drive through the park is gorgeous. From 9am-2pm (Summer) you will need a timed reservation. After 2 just drive to the gate.was . was pretty busy on July 12 2024.
Oliver G — Google review
It’s a national park of course it’s gonna be a spectacular. There are so many things to explore here so many places to hike and camp and to drive you can spend a day or a week or a month. Just depends on how much time you have.

We arrived at 6:30 am on Friday without a timed entry and we were able to drive the Old Fall River Road with ease. We have a truck and were able to make the curves with no problem. We seen elk, deer, and tons of marmot! Chasm Falls has a small parking lot but we were able to find a spot since it was so early. I'd imagine later in the day the few spots fill up fast. The hike down is easy and quick! We also got the opportunity to hike Marmot Point and had the trail to ourselves! It was wonderful and I highly recommend this hike. It was a little bit of a challenge for us Missouri folk but we took a couple short breaks and we were able to hike up it in about 35 minutes. The trail is quite rocky/sandy so maybe a walking stick/ trekking poles would be helpful coming down 😬 I slide a couple times and I typically have great balance (probably a combo of elevation and not having my trekking poles). Definitely wear proper hiking shoes. It was close to 9 am when we were finished with the drive so the Visitor Center at the end was getting busy with folks with timed permits. We did have a 4 pm permit to drive down Bear Lake Road. That was a bit stressful getting in and finding parking... I would also suggest the earliest timed entry for that area or come in before 5 am to avoid massive crowds.

Rocky Mountain National Park is a breathtaking destination that encapsulates the stunning beauty of the Colorado Rockies. With its towering peaks, alpine lakes, and diverse wildlife, the park offers a wealth of outdoor activities and stunning vistas for nature lovers and adventure seekers alike. However, it's essential to plan your visit wisely, especially during the winter and early spring months.During the winter, many of the park's driving trails, including the famous Trail Ridge Road, are closed due to heavy snowfall and challenging road conditions. This can limit access to some of the most scenic areas of the park. Typically, these roads begin to open up in late spring as the snow melts, making summer the ideal time to explore the park's full offerings. If you visit during the winter or early spring, be prepared for limited access and consider alternative activities such as snowshoeing, cross-country skiing, or enjoying the tranquility of the snow-covered landscape.Once the snow has melted and the roads are cleared, Rocky Mountain National Park transforms into a summer paradise. The scenic drives provide access to breathtaking viewpoints, where you can stop and take in panoramic vistas of the majestic mountains and lush valleys. The park’s abundant hiking trails range from easy walks around Bear Lake to challenging hikes like Longs Peak, offering something for every level of hiker.Wildlife enthusiasts will appreciate the opportunity to see elk, deer, and even the occasional black bear, particularly during the early morning or late afternoon. The park is also home to diverse flora, with colorful wildflowers blanketing the meadows in summer, making it an ideal time for photography. In addition to the stunning landscapes, Rocky Mountain National Park offers a range of visitor services, including information centers, campgrounds, and ranger-led programs that enhance your experience. The staff are knowledgeable and eager to share insights about the park's ecology, geology, and history, providing a deeper understanding of this natural wonder. In summary, Rocky Mountain National Park is an awe-inspiring destination that offers unparalleled natural beauty and outdoor adventures. While winter visitors should be aware of closed driving trails and limited access, those who wait for spring to arrive will be rewarded with a spectacular summer experience. Whether you're hiking through wildflower-filled meadows, enjoying scenic drives, or spotting wildlife, Rocky Mountain National Park is sure to leave a lasting impression. Just be sure to check road conditions and trail openings before your visit to make the most of this incredible park!

A really, really great park where you could easily fill 4-5 days with awesome hiking. It’s a good idea to map out your visit in advance since the park is so expansive with literally hundreds of possible hikes. Getting out to Dream and Emerald Lake is a must! I’d recommend very waterproof shoes…there can be snow on the ground in places as late as June! It can get crowded in places, but not as bad as also smaller parks.
Zach S — Google review
Beautiful landscapes. I did the Sky Pond Trail, and although the terrain can be challenging due to all the rock scrambles, the view will make it all worth it. I visited late August/early September, and the weather was just percect. Sunny, clear skies with low temperatures, making it great for the hike. Make sure to start early and bring plenty of water.

Bryce Canyon National Park is home to towering spires, also known as hoodoos, and a natural amphitheater. Visitors can enjoy scenic overlooks and hiking trails that offer stunning views of the landscape. For those looking for a stress-free departure, it's recommended to leave early and head back to Salt Lake City via I-15 which takes approximately four hours.
An awe inspiring place to visit. The views, from everywhere are amazing. The shuttle buses were running frequently, many people however choose to drive the scenic drive. This means parking is very tight. We did the Navajo/ queens garden loop, even at 9am it was busy !!
Catherine S — Google review
it is once per life experience for seeing hoodoos. it has the largest collection of hoodoos—the distinctive rock formations. The best time to go there may be April when there are still some snows here and there. the trails are very user friendly, you can go inside the hoodoos as well as have big views by hiking the rim trails. you can access the trails by both driving your own car and take shuttle buses. I had never ever seen these many hoodods like this.

One of the most unique places you'll see! We spent 2 half days here. Arriving in the afternoon, we did the 18 mile scenic drive and stopped at each viewpoint for photos and perspective. The next morning we returned and did the Queen's Garden, Navajo Trail and Wall Street hikes along with the rim walk. Amazingly beautiful!!

We took advantage of the Bryce canyon trail rides. This is a family-owned business that truly cares about your experience and their horses. The horses were great and knew the trail well. The trail ride took us to the bottom of the canyon and back up. Not going to lie, it was kind of scary at times, but I put total trust in my horse; she was great! This was the best way to see the canyon, in my opinion. Loved this experience.
Tracey S — Google review
Amazing views, a lot of different trails to hike, I recommend starting at sunrise or sunset point and making your way right, and start with the switchback trails into Wall Street and making the loop up back to sunrise. Get there early, it can get hot and a lot of people around too!

Beautiful! Amazing views. Dress appropriately due to the elevation levels. Better to have hiking shoes as well. Amphitheatre, hoodoos, lightning struck trees, etc., everything is magical. Must see if in the neighborhood.

Bryce Canyon National Park was mesmerizing! The vibrant red hoodoos and unique rock formations were like nothing we’d ever seen. The views are unbeatable, but some trails are steep. Still, an unforgettable adventure!

Bryce has always been one of my favorite places to visit and stun friends and family with. It's so beautiful it's almost painful. Drive to the top, get out and have a long look, then drive down the mountain slowly and stop at every turn out to get another different, always spectacular view of the canyon. We hiked a little less than halfway down on the Queens Garden trail and the views were phenomenal. Next year we're doing the horse riding into the canyon, for sure!

This is a beautiful national park! The bus system provides easy access to most of the stops and places to take in breath-taking views. My 10-year old and I decided to hike the Navajo Trail. The descent was pretty easy, but the trip back up was pretty difficult. We had lunch at the pizzeria near the lodge for a delicious and reasonably-priced meal.

Amazing place. Very accessible for people who can’t walk much as you can see great views from places close to the parking lot. The shuttle service is awesome and the views are fabulous. We did the Navajo and Queens Garden Trail. 3 miles and totally worth it. If you have less time, go down Navajo trail for 15 min and come back and go down from Sunrise for 15 min and walk back.

Everything about this park was astounding. Bryce Canyon National Park felt as though we stepped off Earth and into some alien planet. The views were breathtaking at every turn, the hikes were incredible, the rich Native American history was fascinating. This place is truly one of a kind. We camped a few nights and took advantage of early mornings and multiple days to enjoy as much of the park as possible.Personal highlights: hiking the Fairyland Loop Trail to immerse yourself in the Canyon, driving to the overlooks, camping at Sunset Campground, and hiking Queens Garden, Navajo Loop, and the Rim Trail for some iconic views of the Canyon. The trails we hiked were well marked, relatively smooth, and easy to navigate. We dealt with decent elevation changes throughout as most of the trails we encountered were not flat. We carried about 3 liters of water per person and the longest hike we did in one day was about 13 miles. Due to the heat and direct sunlight, that was much needed. I would highly recommend this park! It’s relatively close to Zion National Park, Capital Reef National Park, and the Grand Canyon North Rim! If you’re at any one of these parks, definitely take time out to stop at Bryce Canyon! You won’t regret it!

Beauty hiking spot. Never thought that hiking poles/sticks would be of good use. I was proven wrong. It would be best to go early in the morning to not be trapped in the heat, we went during the end of July and started hiking around 7am. I loved the landscape of the park.

Bryce Canyon is absolutely breathtaking. If you are ever vacationing out West, you must add this as one of your destinations! Although this video is great, it does not do it justice! To see it with your own eyes is an experience of a lifetime! There are several outlooks and trails to discover. Camping is also available, but I recommend checking availability prior to your visit (it is a pretty popular place during the summer). The entrance of the park does offer guest services, a gift shop, and an education room about the area. Lots of wildlife surround the area, so keep your camera handy for some candid pictures! This is truly a destination you will never forget!

One of the most beautiful places on our planet!!! Bryce is absolutely mesmerizing!! I thought it was far better than many overrated national parks. Beautiful hikes, clean restrooms, good parking and just overall an amazing National park!

Beautiful. Breathtaking. The slot canyon is really special, and the whole hike is great. Better in the summer between 6:00 and 10:00 a.m. The hoodoos are all really beautiful. They also have a great incentive for the kids, that if they either hike 3 miles or find 3 benchmarks and take a picture with it, they get a decal sticker/decal. There's ample parking close to the trails and many different trails for different levels .

Such a beautiful place to go 😍😍 just drive all the way to the end of the loop and then come back and stop at all of the vantage points 😎👍its the best way to see everything because you just make right hand turns instead of trying to go left over traffic 👍 i really enjoy that you are just driving to each point and looking around and not hiking for miles just to see something beautiful . There is some small trails that are at most of the stops that are easy and beautiful but remember the elevation is high so you might get out of breath fast 👍

Bryce Canyon National Park is hands down one of the best national parks we’ve ever visited. The scenery is absolutely breathtaking—the unique hoodoo rock formations, vibrant colors, and vast vistas are unlike anything we’ve seen before.Every viewpoint offered a new, stunning perspective, and hiking down into the canyon was an unforgettable experience. Pictures don't do justice, absolutely gorgeous and unique. We did the sunrise to Queen Victoria trail and we are in our 60s and two of us are smokers too and they were able to finish it. You need more time than 1 day to really see everything and walk all the trails.

Most beautiful canyons I have ever seen. EPIC park with so many vistas and hikes to explore the beauty of this majestic land. Overlooks are easy and accessible to give an overlook view of the park but I suggest wearing hiking boots to get more close to the rock formations on the trails in the park. Easy access, parking and no crowds in early October when we went.

Bryce Canyon is a must do if you’re in the area! I’ll say spend at least do a full day and do the short hikes if you are able to like the Navajo trail loop! Plenty of shuttle stops when operating (not sure how long the shuttles run for )! It can get pretty chilly as well, so make sure you are adequately prepared

We cannot get enough of this beautiful national park. The colors are stunning and there are tons of hikes for everyone. Beautiful! Worth a visit and a must for those of you who are not familiar with this part of the world.Beautiful views, incredible hikes, accessible and not over crowded. You can challenge yourself or take kids and enjoy most of the park. You are up high, something like 8,00 to 9,000 feet on average. So take your time doing the hikes. One I recommend is the starting at sunset point, hiking down Wall Street and then go over to Queens garden at sunrise point. Such a fun and beautiful hike! It really shows off the beauty of this park.A fun, simple and short hike is Mossy cave. Really a great hike for and age.One thing we did was go into the park at sunset to view the night sky.... All of us loved it. Obviously you need to be careful as it is Dark. But the stars you see will blow you away. One last thing... Go early in the day. Go at sunrise. Don't sleep in... Less people and the morning sun brings a beautiful light to the park.

In awe with nature's beauty. Love how there are different levels of hiking trails. We were able to do hiking with a baby in our group and enjoy the beautiful scenery. The Narrows trail is a nice walk for all. The only downside of the Narrows was that the bathrooms were not available. Wish we had more days to explore more of Zion National Park.

Well managed and 💯 Family Friendly National Park! Accessibility is top notch, ton of hikes with paved paths and wheelchair accessible. Make sure to time your visit well according to the weather, end of summers can get really hot with increasing heat waves. Campgrounds are very well maintained, clean washrooms, great spaces and most importantly stunning views. Get yourself educated on their “No private vehicles- shuttle only” rule during peak summers. Shuttle service is great. Night sky is gorgeous. Town nearby, great restaurants and goodness view from everywhere even the random parking lot! On campgrounds just make sure to not leave any food items open or inside tent unattended- squirrels will invade the space and damage your tent. The narrows, angels landing and hanging gardens are beautiful. Keep checking weather since it changes pretty quickly. DO NOT FEED any wild life 🙏🏻

Beautiful place! After several tries, I finally did the Narrows trail. It was so beautiful and exciting to be in the canyon. I highly recommend this trail, but it is important to do it with the correct shoes, plenty of water, and a walking stick. I saw many people struggling a lot due to the lack of these things.

I’ve been to Zion twice and it was awesome-inspiring both times. The canyon itself is absolutely spectacular - it feels otherworldly, surrounded by big cliffs with the Virgin river running through the center.I have to imagine that social media (and the spectacular photos that are easy to find in the park) has made this one of the more popular National Parks in the United States. As such, arrive as early as you can and get in the trails before the park gets slammed by tourists!

It's a beautiful national park, but it's just so busy. I couldn't find any parking at the visitors center, but was able to stop at a few places in the way to the east entrance. I was listening to the national park information on the radio while there and they said that the parking gets full in the morning. Plan accordingly! Next time I go, I will most likely go through the east entrance, way less busy!

I had an amazing time at the brewery by the camp sites. We enjoyed it so much that we went multiple times to get their amazing Elk burger.

Beautiful scenery and breathtaking views. We saw deer wandering around and wild turkeys. Go early or else you're going to have to wait in long lines for the shuttle, unless you rent e-bikes. There are a lot of bathrooms before the trails. I suggest purchasing the America the Beautiful pass if you plan on seeing more than one National Park, it pays for itself quickly.

Great two days of hiking with the family. Youngest was 2 and the oldest was 71. The two year old was backpacked in many places, but was also able to walk in others.Lots of wildlife.Beautiful scenery and great family time.

Great National park!… would definitely recommend renting an e-bike, you will get farm more views riding one over riding the buses. I’d say it would take a good three days to cover most of the main trails.

Wonderful National Park that has areas for hiking for different levels of experience. Many of them are pretty challenging so do research before you go.Facilities are simple yet effective. Campsites are clean though if you are putting up a tent know the ground is pebbles and not sand. Bring something to hammer in tent stakes.

One of the beautiful places and well maintained park. The shuttle service is great. You’ll get best views hiking to Scouts lookout/Angels landing. Angels landing requires permit which is 0.5mi from scouts lookout. I suggest carrying safety hooks/chains if planning for Angels landing.

All I can say is OMG. This place is amazing. By far our favorite national Park. We hiked so many trails would definitely love to come back and do some back country hiking and Angels landing. They have the shuttle system down, it is so efficient and seamless, was so much nicer than having to find parking and deal with traffic.

A truly beautiful place to visit and calm your mind.It is a gift of nature. You know the rest of the thing about it. Just be prepared to do any activities here. There are plenty of restrooms in every stop with drinking water fountains as well. Make sure you have an empty bottle to fill as you can't buy water here. There are picnic areas as well and the whole park is dog friendly. I don't think they have a playground. Do we need it here though? The whole park is your adventure playground.

We arrived at Zion at 9 AM, exploring its canyons and famous Angel's Landing hike. Lunch was at the park's café, with scenic views. The cliffs were stunning, but the trails can get crowded. Still, an amazing day!

Went in October on a random Monday and it was still extremely crowded. Did not find parking inside, had to park in the town. Tried to catch the bus but it was so full that the bus did not stop at stop 3, so decided to walk to the park instead.Hiked for an hour or so in the narrows, it was really beautiful but the water was a bit chilly for my liking.

Where do I even begging! This is one of the most beautiful national parks I have hiked or visited. In all my travels this was also my first time using the bus system to get from trail to trail. I highly recommend it, saves so much time and gas from vehicles. I recommend this park as the natural beauty and formations that you see are like no other. The most exhilarating hike was walking through the river between two massive boulders that just twist and turn as if your in the grand canyon.I will say that you want to ensure you are prepared as the weather does change quite often due to the altitude and placement of the park. I wore my regular sneakers workout shorts and a tank top with my cowboy hat and shades with my Hydration backpack. Make sure to bring snack and please follow the rules Do not go in the Emerald Pools please you will destroy the animals habitats below.Every bus that I caught to the next trail the driver was thoroughly educated on the park and gave expertise information about each trial the animals atmosphere and so much more!Definitely a must see!

The park is mostly accessed by shuttle, and there really isn't any reason to drive your car around while the shuttle is active. There's certainly some trails to hike while you're in the area of the visitor center, but it's in your best interest to take the shuttle and check out all the stops. That aside, I don't think I actually did much hiking in this park. Regardless - incredibly beautiful park and it's become one of my favorite national parks!

I visited this place last week, it was my first time here. I like it ,the beauty of nature of mesmerizing. There are a lot of waking paths as well. If you do not want to hike, a person can just go in there vehicle along the path and enjoy the view. The ride along the car party was beautiful ❤️. Visitor center also has a good atmosphere around it . Visitor center closes at 5 . While the park is still open.

What a beautiful park! We only had a few days, so we only got two hikes in. A great way to get a lot of scenic views in without a lot of effort is taking a drive through the park. The narrows hike was breathtaking and surreal. I definitely recommend a good pair of boots you're willing to get soaking wet or renting the boots with neoprene liners from the park. A good walking stick or trekking poles/hiking sticks is/are a must. You will be walking up a river bed with flowing water. We weren't lucky enough to get the last-minute passes for Angel's Landing, but we did hike Overlook Trail. We took the east mesa trail head to overlook point, and wow. If you only have time for one hike, this should be it. The hike itself is very easy. The scenery is gorgeous. There are chipmunks at overlook point, and they will try to get into your bags for food and mischief.

Amazing national park with stunning views. Do not miss the 12 mile drive through the park. Be prepared to pay for park entry ( USD 35 / private vehicle) or have an annual pass. To see another stretch of scenic route, we must take the shuttle service provided by the park service. A must visit park.

This is yet another place that’s hard to put into words—its beauty is immense. Make sure you go with plenty of time to explore the many hiking trails available. With the $35 day pass, you have access for seven days, which is great for taking your time. I only had a short visit, but I’ll definitely be returning for a proper hike.

LOVE this place!! I've been twice, once in winter when the busses weren't running and once at the end of summer, and it never disappoints. The hikes are between flat and extreme, but both will be fun. Wildlife will walk right past you.Just be prepared, basics like water and sun protection, and covering basic meals you would normally have.

Beautiful views! Very busy during the peak season (May-September). We went end of September. It is a well maintained park, that is family and pet friendly. It is also accessible for many.Parking is awful, awful and it took us over an hour to find parking, so plan ahead or go very early. Lots of incredible hiking trails and paved paths for those who need other options. They have a “No private vehicles- shuttle only” rule during peak summers. Shuttle service is great, however as you must take a shuttle bus to visit much of the park during peak season, unless you are hiking.Plan ahead and make sure you check the weather as during peak season, it can be very hot. The visitor center has a nice store with great items. The narrows, angels landing and hanging gardens are beautiful trails to see. The Angels Landing requires a lottery ticket and if you are afraid of heights, do NOT go.Lots of restaurants along the way and very close by. Definitely and highly recommend.

Zion National Park is one of the most incredible places I have ever been in my life. Prepared to be dwarfed by the size of these ancient mountains! You'll definitely need 3 or more days to get a full experience of this national Park.Free parking at the visitor centre can fill up fast, aim to arrive at the latest by 7:30am to get a spot! The walks are all well signed and outlined in the pamphlet provided upon ticket purchase at the entrance. If you're going to do The Narrows, head in early to beat the crowds and make sure you take warm clothes. Try and walk as far as the end of Wall Street. Depending on what time of year you go, you'll have to do a lot more deep water walking after this.If you have the time, drive from the South entrance up through to the east entrance and back, you will not regret it. It is absolutely stunning! Best thing we did.
